Non-weekend nightlife, LA

The "it" place to be on a Sunday night:

Definitely the W Hotel in Hollywood'slive jazz night. Lovely! What more can I say? No cover, just free, live, amazing jazz in an absolutely beautiful setting. Right above the Hollywood and Vine train station. 

Sure, there is no place to sit (unless you reserve a table with bottle service), but who wants to sit when there are great booty-shaking tunes on? The singer is awesome, and her trumpet player is a dime. People dress up. It's nice. Come out. 

Best Monday night spot:

For sure it's School Night at the Bardot in Hollywood. Also next to Hwood and Vine train station. NO COVER, just great live music and DJ's. The DJ sets are usually pretty awesome, and they play between sets. It's a pretty lame, non-dancing Hwood young crowd, but that doesn't keep me and my friends from dancing! I have really seen some great gigs here.
