Notes on long distance transport (of myself):

Thursday:
Palanan to Cauayan – 1 hour flight
Cauayan to Manila – 9 hour crazy bus ride
1 day spent in Manila (thank god)
Manila to Incheon, South Korea – 4 hour flight
Layover in Incheon – 9 hours
Incheon to SFO – 10 hours
SFO to Millbrae Caltrain – 15 minute Bart ride
Millbrae to San Jose – 1 hour train ride
San Jose to Santa Cruz – 1 hour bus ride
Downtown to home – 1 mile walk with ALL MY SHIT. Sunday afternoon.
Total: ~36 hours

2 days spent in California

Tuesday morning
Santa Cruz to San Jose – 1 hour bus ride
San Jose to Fremont - ~1 hour bus ride
Fremont to Oakland - ~1 hour Bart ride
Oakand to airport – 15 min shuttle
Oakland to Denver – 2 hour flight
Denver to Minneapolis – 3 hours
Airport to downtown - 1 hour train ride
Total: ~9 hours

Downtown to airport - 1 hour train ride
Minneapolis to Phoenix – 2.5 hour flight
Phoenix to Oakland – 3 hour flight
airport to Oakland bart station – 15 min shuttle
Oakland to Fremont – 1hour Bart ride
Fremont to San Jose – 1 hour bus ride
San Jose to Santa Cruz – 1 hour bus ride
Total: ~10 hours

Public transportation in the U.S. sucks. I can't believe it takes 3 hours to get from Santa Cruz to Oakland. What a joke. I am glad that I don't have to fly anywhere for a good amount of time. Busses in the U.S. are so funny. It's so expensive to take them, and you have to have the exact amount of money for the fare, making it more complicated to get on the fucking thing. In other countries, as long as you have some cash, you just get on the bus, and then the driver's assistant comes and gives you change as soon as he has some from other passengers getting on.
